Veta Plate Tower
Veta Plate Tower
The Veta Plate Tower by Alex Athletics is the space-saving solution for heavy weight storage. Its vertical design organizes hundreds of kilograms of Olympic plates in a minimal footprint, freeing up valuable floor space. Constructed from heavy-gauge steel with a stable, tip-resistant base, it features strategically spaced weight horns for easy access to all plate sizes. Durable and sleek, it keeps your gym safe, organized, and professional by getting weights off the floor and onto the rack.
Vertical Loading Power: The Veta Plate Tower
Weight plates are the heaviest and most cumbersome items in a gym, and storing them requires a specialized solution. The Veta Plate Tower (F12BC002) by Alex Athletics is a vertical storage tree designed to handle the immense load of Olympic plates with ease and style. Unlike horizontal racks that take up feet of wall space, this “Tower” design utilizes verticality to store hundreds of kilograms of iron or rubber in a compact footprint (usually less than 2×2 feet). The “Veta” design language likely implies a sleek, modern aesthetic with a focus on structural rigidity. The central column supports multiple weight horns spaced specifically to accommodate varying diameters of plates, from small change plates at the top to massive 25kg/45lb wheels at the bottom.
Constructed from heavy-gauge steel tubing, the Veta Plate Tower is welded for maximum strength. There are no bolts to loosen over time; it is a solid unit. The weight horns are typically finished in chrome or a durable coating to allow plates to slide on and off smoothly without scratching. The base is designed to be tip-proof, ensuring safety even when the rack is loaded unevenly. By getting plates off the floor, you not only remove tripping hazards but also make loading and unloading barbells significantly faster and more ergonomic for the athlete. It is the foundational storage piece for any free weight area.
1. Compact Vertical Footprint
Floor space is revenue. The Veta Tower minimizes the storage footprint, holding a massive amount of weight in a tight vertical column. This frees up floor space for lifting platforms and benches. It is the most efficient way to store plates in a home gym or crowded commercial facility.
2. Optimized Horn Spacing
The layout is intentional. The spacing between the weight horns is calculated to fit standard IWF diameter plates (450mm) on the bottom and smaller plates on top without them overlapping or colliding. This makes retrieving the 20kg plate easy without scraping your knuckles on the 10kg plate above it.
3. Heavy-Duty Welded Frame
Stability is non-negotiable. The frame is likely a fully welded or heavy-bolted assembly capable of supporting 500kg+ of weight. It feels solid and grounded. The base geometry prevents tipping, even if you strip all the weights off one side (though balanced unloading is always recommended).
4. Smooth Weight Horns
The storage pegs are designed for function. They are sized for 50mm Olympic plates and finished to be smooth. This reduces friction when sliding heavy rubber bumpers on, making cleanup at the end of a workout less of a chore. They often feature end caps to prevent plates from sliding off due to vibration.
5. Organization & Safety
A pile of plates on the floor is a broken toe waiting to happen. The Veta Tower organizes your weights by size, making it easy to grab exactly what you need. It promotes a culture of “re-racking” in the gym and keeps the training environment safe and navigable.
